Okay I have been doing a Online Bible Study it started on September 23, 2012 called "UNGLUED" by Lysa TerKeurst You can find the Online Bible Study on and we had too read chapters 1&2 I got a little behind and I'm almost finished with chapter 2 and we have questions we need too answer so I'm going too post them here and when I finish my reading I will come back and answer them. Here are the questions:
Chapter 2 Refelections
Hopefully you have read Chapters 1 & 2 by now. Here are some questions to reflect on for Chapter 2:
1. What does Lysa say about perspective? Perspective is the key to not coming unglued.
2. Finish this sentence. ”When an emotion is tied to this thought pattern, the memory trace grows ____exponentially stronger______________.
Why is this true?]
Because we forgot most of our random thoughts that are tied too a emotion and we forget we tend too hold on too it
3. Why is renewing our thoughts so crucial?
if we develop new thoughts we can begin too develop new emotion patterns.. I think we won't continue too beat ourselves up about the things we do when we become unglued.
4. Look up Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 10:5 in your Bible. Write them in your journal or notebook. Rewrite both verses in your own words. Then write out how you can apply this in your life.
I will let God lead me and chisel me into all that he wants me too be, I will not let others keep me down, with there negativity. I will lift others up and not bring them down and tell them of God's love for them and bring them closer to him.
5. When faced with a situation out of your control, ask yourself, “Whose side am I on?” What is your answer?
I'm on God's side.. He is the one that has too be in control, because i can't do it anymore.
6. Are you a freak-out woman?
Yes, I have been and probably still am, but God is chiseling me each and everyday not too be. Because I can't control my circumstances, I can only fix my eyes on HIM
